So who is Hardly Casual?
A bit about me:
Without being grandiose, I'm your resident artist, author, idea guy. I host the Hardly Casual Podcast, and when required, I put on the big boy pants of Creative Director. I try to ensure we are bringing all our wonderful listeners, near and far, old and new, a continued reason to come and spend their valuable time. That aside, I love games, exploration, comics, bad horror movies, coffee, beer, sushi, hugs, MY SON, you know...all the best things in life.
I’m started my video gaming life as a Nintendo and Sega fan that had abundant access to PC gaming. Now, I find myself a tried and true Playstation user, who still holds out hope Nintendo will always be around, and who still enjoys an ol’mouse and keyboard gaming session on the PC. Microsoft...well, I do still enjoy some of their IPs, and with the advent of Windows 10, I can now enjoy those titles easily.
So what do I play?
Open-world games, RPGs (Western and Japanese), fighting games, absurdly fast racing games, the occasional shooter, survival sandbox games, platformers, and a ridiculous amount of indie games.
A bit about me:
Hello World! I’m Kenny Hall. I’m your resident web-wizard here at Hardly Casual, and during the day I play Junior Developer for a WordPress plugin development company called the WP Ninjas. I guess that technically makes a ninja as well. I’m also an avid gamer, I’ve played games since I was a wee lad, as they have been a big part of my life. I've always enjoyed learning about the gaming industry and the behind the scenes work that it takes to build video games.
PS4 and PC are my go to gaming devices. I own a Wii U, but until Zelda: Breath of the Wild, I couldn't tell you when the last time I turned it on was.
So what do I play?
I play a bit of everything, I grew up mostly playing RPGs and JRPGs. I still spend a good amount of time playing both of those genres. I love anything that will make me think, I have spent way more hours than I care to mention on Kerbal Space Program. I also enjoy coop games, MMOs, and the Battlefield series, so you can see what I mean when I say I play a bit of everything.
